Summer Bookcation Reading List

Screen Shot 2017-06-30 at 12.57.14 PMHere’s how I roll on a #bookcation:

1. Go to the library – take your book bag. Here’s mine. It’s a little beat up, but it works hard here at Chez Albert.

2. Go shelf by shelf – pick up stuff that calls to you, read the inside jacket, and throw it in your bag if it looks interesting.

3. Repeat until your bag is brimming.

4. Check them out.

5. Go somewhere off the grid, preferably with a scenic view, and fruity beverages.

6. Get lost in your book bag.

Here’s what I’ll be bingeing on this holiday weekend:

#AskGaryVee – Read all his other stuff, this is his latest. Thank You Economy is still my favorite, but let’s see if Gary Vee and his ghostwriters can turn me around on this one.

All You Need is Less - Fits into my 30 day purge challenge.

Flourish – Why not?

Who’s Pushing Your Buttons – Because I seem to have several of these in my life right now…need to take away the buttons. The guilty shall remain nameless.

Flow – read it before, but one more time definitely won’t hurt.

Communicating for a Change – which looks it was written in some type of religious construct, but I’m sure I can learn something from it.

Surprise – I liked the cover, but I personally generally don’t like surprises…

Awe – Most intriguing book of all that I picked up – because of the cover art.

Unstuck – again bright cover, and always shopping for how to shop better for ideas…

Highly Paid Expert – dig the title…

Money Secrets of the Amish – Seemingly obtuse, but considering I have Amish heritage and they DO hustle, maybe this is where my entrepreneurial streak comes from – better read up on it.

You now know what I’ll be up to this holiday weekend. Whatever you’re doing, my fab 13, do it as only you do you!
